PRESCHOOL & KINDERGARTEN PROGRAM
Childworks offers flexible scheduling of days for preschool. The preschool day is 2.5 hours. Add to your child’s day with Lunchworks or Enrichment afternoons (see the following information). Space is limited for the full day options.

TODDLERWORKS PROGRAM
Childworks’ Toddlerworks (parent/child program) is designed to introduce young children (12 months – 3 years old) to the preschool environment. Join your child for a fun-filled class, which runs 1-1/4 hours. Each class includes a wide variety of activities for parent and child to explore and discover. Examples are: gym play, music and movement, parachute play, art, Circletime and outdoor play. The objectives of the class are:
- Parent and child interaction;
- Socialization with other children;
- To enhance the development of motor, language, and cognitive skills;
- To familiarize children with a preschool environment; and
- To ease the transition into a preschool program.
There is a one-time new child registration fee of $10. A $8 weekly fee will be charged if a sibling (non-infant) attends class (space permitting). You may join the session at anytime with a pro-rated fee if space is available. Please call (215) 361-1234 for a trial class. LUNCHWORKS
Lunchworks is offered daily during the school year following the a.m. program with pick-up at 1:00 p.m. (bring your own lunch). *For fees and to pre-register, contact the office.
Enrichment
Enrichment class can be added to your a.m. program and outside families and graduates are welcome. The afternoon includes outdoor play, Circletime, stories, songs, science, art, movement, dramatic play and related activities. Enrichment without lunch is available from 12 noon to 2:30 p.m. *For fees and to pre-register, contact the office.
Summer Programs
Childworks’ offers summer programs depending on the availability of the present teaching staff. The optional “Extended School Year” program is held the last weeks in June. Some summers there is a half-day preschool enrichment program which is a structured recreational program for children two-years-old through Kindergarten. There is space for a limited number of children. Preference for admission is given to children enrolled in the Fall program and children who’ve graduated pre-k/k in Spring. Classes meet Monday through Friday for all sessions.
